In LCW’s rounds last eve, we spent a considerable amount of time walking through the bushy areas across from the Fire Station,
Top of Bryn Road behind Mez Wallach
Both sides of Lakeside Station,
Top of Service Road near Bunker road,
Ablution facilities in Zandvlei.
There are several hiding/sleeping places in these areas, with an immense amount of filth left behind.
It needs to be noted that there is a considerable amount of people’s personal records in utility bills, various documents, audio cassettes etc that are part of this filth.
Caution needs to be taken when disposing of your waste at home!
Besides keeping the vagrants out, we will need to make a concerted effort to clean out all the litter in these areas.
The pic attached is of an area across from the Firestation as well as cassettes found in bush at the bottom of Orient road where it meets Promenade.
